What is it?

Occupational Therapy helps individuals with temporary or permanent disabilities acquire a greater degree of independence and/or recovery.

Our Occupational Therapists offer creative solutions and alternatives for performing daily activities following an injury or illness.

Our staff is dedicated to assisting adults and children with physical and mental disabilities adjust to everyday living activities and achieve their maximum functional potential.

Activities of Daily Living

  • Preparing Meals
  • Performing Job Duties
  • Using a computer
  • Doing Laundry
  • Caring for self and family members
  • Playing sports

Patients who may benefit from Occupational Therapy may suffer from the following:

  • Work-related injuries, including repetitive stress injuries
  • Limitation following a stroke or heart attack
  • Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis
  • Birth injuries, learning or developmental disabilities
  • Burns, spinal cord injuries or amputations
  • Broken bones or injuries from falls, sports, or accidents
