Services - Inpatient Occupational Therapy

The focus of OT for our inpatients is helping them to care for themselves after an illness, surgery or injury. Our therapists partner with the Nursing staff, Physical Therapists and physicians to provide a team approach in meeting our patients needs.

In Home Evaluations

Our Occupational Therapists are able to perform "at-home" evaluations to identify potential safety hazards, such as poor lighting, throw rugs, crowded furniture and other fall hazards.

These evaluations are done before a patient is discharged from our hospital. Recommendations for change are then provided to the patient and other family members.
