Services - Physical Therapy

When you are injured or in pain, all of your daily activities are affected, at home, at work, and at play. Our skilled Physical Therapists will perform a thorough assessment including evaluation of joint range of motion, strength levels and identification of difficulties that you may have with daily activities. Following the assessment, a treatment plan is established that will address the pain and/or difficulties you are experiencing and will guide you towards maximizing your full function. Because successful rehabilitation is a combined effort of both the therapist and the patient, your therapist will explain the injury and treatment process, and will also provide instructions for you to continue your treatment at home.

Our hands-on approach also includes manual therapy techniques to increase joint movement or relax and stretch tight muscles and ligaments. In addition, we utilize various technologies and equipment, such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat and ice to improve the "stretchability" of certain tissues and to decrease swelling.
