Services - Occupational Health
Jersey Shore Area Health Services, an affiliate of Jersey Shore Hospital, provides random Occupational Health Testing for 37 local companies through a random testing consortium, totaling 260 employees.
We select 50% of our employee pool for annual drug testing and 10% for random alcohol testing.
On site testing is also provided at no additional charge.
DOT SAMHSA FIVE DRUG PANEL TEST
Testing for:
- Amphetamines
- Cocaine Metabolites
- Marijuana Metabolites
- Opiates
- Phencyclidine
NON-DOT TEN-PANEL SUBSTANCE ABUSE TEST
Testing for:
- Amphetamines
- Barbiturates
- Benzodiazepines
- Cocaine Metabolites
- Marijuana Metabolites
- Methadone
- Methaqualone
- Opiates
- Phencyclinide
- Propoxyphene
Tests include Medical Review Officer and automatic confirmation of all positive test results
Testing Available:
- DOT Drug Testing SAMHSA Five Drug Panel
- Non-DOT Drug Testing, Confirmed Ten Drug Panel
- On-Site Rapid Drug Testing
Negative results reported out immediately
Positive results are sent for further testing
- Evidential Breath Alcohol Testing
- Hepatitis B Vaccines
- Consortium Drug Screens
- DOT Medical History and Physical Examinations
- Non-DOT Drug Test w/ Urine Alcohol
- On-Site Testing (within a 30 mile radius)

Our Occupational Health Services department provides a variety of health-related programs and services to local industry, aimed at improving the quality of the work environment. We to provide educational sessions, health fairs and clinical programs that can be customized to fit any industry’s specific needs.
