Colorectal Cancer Screenings

Our Colorectal Cancer Screenings are simple and may be done in the privacy of your own home.

Jersey Shore Hospital provides Lycoming County residents age 50 and older with EZ Detect Kits to screen for occult blood in your stool.

It’s very simple, you take the test home and record the results from the EZ Detect Kit and mail the results to Jersey Shore Hospital. The screening is completely non-invasive and sanitary.

Your report will be forwarded, with complete confidence, to your family physician for their review. If you do not have a physician at the time of your screening, our Community Outreach Medical Director, Dr. Cynthia Recinto, will review your report and contact you if further testing is necessary.
