		Jersey Shore Hospital Welcomes New Family Practice Doctor JERSEY SHORE—Jersey Shore Hospital is proud to announce the addition of a new family practice doctor to their Avis medical associates office. Dr. Sabir Khan has recently relocated from the Wilkes-Barre area to Jersey Shore and has joined the knowledgeable team of healthcare professionals at Jersey Shore Hospital. Dr. Khan’s office is located in the Avis medical associates building, alongside fellow family practitioner Dr. Stephen Goykovich and general surgeons Dr. Steven Katz and Dr. Ralph Korkor. Dr. Khan is also able to see patients in Lock Haven as well, at the professionals’ building at 930 Bellefonte Ave. Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Khan completed medical training in and outside the U.S., garnering a further understanding of diverse medical needs. During residency, Dr. Khan received the Davis Award for Excellence in Family Medicine, a prestigious award from the Wyoming Valley Family Practice Residency Program in Kingston, PA. Dr. Khan is now accepting new patients for both the Avis and Lock Haven locations, and those interested may call 753-8620.
