Continually Upgrading: Jersey Shore Hospital Adds Connecting Corridor
After completion of the 45,000-square-foot addition to the hospital this past summer, Jersey Shore Hospital is now completing a connecting corridor located on the first floor for patients utilizing the former hospital's resources. Patients who are utilizing the hospital's laboratory, orthopedics suite, cardiopulmonary center, human resources office, physical therapy or occupational therapy department, vascular or other clinic services, cafeteria, board or conference room will be able to enter the hospital through its new entrance off Kerr Avenue, and then follow the connecting corridor to the above-mentioned areas. The general contractor for the project is J.B. Gibbons Construction, Inc. of Williamsport. Completing the electrical work is Hanna Electric of Lock Haven. The mechanical work is being completed by RJ Ertel, Inc. of Williamsport. The total estimated cost for the corridor is $79,000 and is coming from the hospital's building fund. The expected completion date for the corridor is mid-March. View the Hospital's articles archives here.
