Jersey Shore Hospital Receives $60,000 Contribution
Jersey Shore, PA (July 17, 2007) - Mr. David Bergerstock, Operations Manager for West Pharmaceutical Services in Jersey Shore, announced today a contribution of $60,000 to benefit Jersey Shore Hospital's Capital Campaign efforts. The donation will be given over a three-year pledge period. The funds are provided by the Herman O. West Foundation, the charitable foundation for the Company.
The Hospital's Capital Campaign supports the building project currently underway. The project will add 45,000 square feet of new modern space, with state-of-the-art technology, to the existing Hospital. The new addition will include a new emergency department, diagnostic radiology suites, surgical suites, and new inpatient rooms. Renovations to the current facility will also be completed to support certain outpatient services and a clinical lab.
"The Herman O. West Foundation and West Pharmaceutical Services are committed to supporting the communities in which we reside," says Bergerstock. "This construction project is crucial to the continued economic development of the Jersey Shore area and we are proud to be a part of such an important project."
