M & T Bank Contributes to JS Hospital Building Fund
Jersey Shore, PA (March 16, 2007) - M & T Bank has pledged $5,000 to the Jersey Shore Hospital Capital Campaign that supports the Hospital Building Fund. Wade Keiffer, Assistant Vice President, Business Banking and Beth Moore, Branch Manager, Avis presented the check to Hospital officials. "M&T Bank has a strong tradition of supporting and enriching the communities that they are located in and where their employees live and work," stated Moore.
Jersey Shore Hospital broke ground in November on its 45,000 square foot addition scheduled to be completed during the spring of 2008. To date, the steel footers and foundation are being placed in the ground. The new addition will feature a new emergency services department, three surgical suites, new radiology suites and inpatient rooms. Upon completion of the addition, the portions of the existing facility will be renovated to further accommodate patients. Nearly $1.9 million has been raised toward the $2.5 million Capital Campaign goal. "It is with great pleasure that we present this check to the Jersey Shore Hospital on behalf of M&T Bank. We are dedicated to the continued economic growth of our community, and we are happy to support the Hospital's commitment to their expansion project," said Keiffer.
