Community Business Volunteers Services to JS Hospital
Jersey Shore, PA - The community is embracing Jersey Shore Hospital and the construction of their new 45,000 square foot addition. With construction progressing, the time came to relocate the biohazard storage facility located at the end of the hospital campus. Dale Schweikart, owner of The Auto Barn in Linden stepped up to the challenge. Schweikart volunteered his truck, time and services, to the hospital to help with the relocation. The process normally would cost the Hospital around $200.00
The move was more than a simple task. The biohazard storage facility was secured to a cement block in the construction area. Special strapping and a hydraulic trailer were used to ensure the safety of the move.
