Jersey Shore Hospital Receives $15,000 Donation from Citizen’s & Northern Bank
Jersey Shore, PA (August 29, 2006) – Citizen’s & Northern Bank announced today a contribution of $15,000 to the Jersey Shore Hospital Capital Campaign. The donation will be given over a five-year pledge period. The Capital Campaign supports the Hospital’s Building project set to begin this fall. The project will add 45,000 square feet of new modern space with state-of-the-art technology to the existing Hospital. The new addition will include a new emergency department, diagnostic radiology, surgical suites, and private inpatient rooms.
Renovations to the current Hospital will also be completed to support certain outpatient services and a clinical lab.
“For 142 years Citizens & Northern Bank’s mission has been to support our local communities and the organizations that serve the people in them,” stated Debra Martin, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for the Jersey Shore Office. “Citizens & Northern Bank is pleased to make this contribution to Jersey Shore Hospital’s Building Fund for the expansion and to it’s continued growth in our community.”
“The support we have received from our community is remarkable. This contribution from Citizens & Northern Bank is testament of their commitment to support their local communities,” said Hubert Valencik, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Hospital. “We are tremendously grateful for this contribution and dedication to this project.”
