Welcomes New Orthopedic Surgeon
Jersey Shore (July 19, 2004) - Jersey Shore Hospital and Jersey Shore Medical Associates (JSMA) are pleased to announce the appointment of Alan W. Sherman, M.D., Orthopedic Surgeon.
Dr. Sherman graduated from the Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency program at the prestigious Lahey Clinic in Boston. He also trained in the General Orthopedics and Reconstruction program at the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Sherman and his family are relocating from Memphis, Tennessee, where he has practiced surgery for the past seven years. Prior to Tennessee, Dr. Sherman practiced for 21 years outside the Chicago area.
