Jersey Shore Lioness Sponsors Health Screen
Jersey Shore, PA (February 21, 2008) - The Jersey Shore Lioness Club will be hosting a Community Health Screen to area residents on Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 6:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The screen will be held at Jersey Shore Hospital. Cost for the complete screen is $45.00.
Participants will receive the following diagnostic lab testing, performed by Jersey Shore Hospital: Complete Blood Count (CBC), Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP), Lipid Panel, and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH). Costs for these tests would normally average about $300.00 without health insurance. A Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) can be completed for an additional $15.00 and an Occult Blood Colon Screen will be performed for an additional $6.00.
